1 day to prototype an AI solution serving women/men equality. What if you spent a day building something that really matters? On 24 September 2026, Les Épaulettes are organizing the Hackathon AIM "L'IA au service de l'égalité" at the AIM trade show in Marseille, in partnership with La Tribune. A day to form mixed teams, tackle a real problem proposed by a local women's association, and prototype a concrete AI solution.

🚀 THE EVENT: The AIM trade show is one of the leading events on artificial intelligence in the Région Sud. It brings together more than 1,000 professionals, entrepreneurs, decision-makers and digital experts every year. The hackathon takes place within it, in partnership with La Tribune.

💡 THE CONCEPT: Marseille-based women's associations have each submitted a challenge. You choose a challenge, you are assigned to a team, and you have the day to find an answer using AI. The teams are put together to mix levels: we need technical profiles just as much as people who know the field, understand the users and know how to frame a problem. You don't need to be a developer to take part. AI mentors trained by Les Épaulettes support you throughout the day to help you move forward, unblock difficult moments and challenge your ideas.

📆 THE DAY: 08h30 Welcome; 09h00 Kick-off and presentation of the challenges by the partner associations; 09h20 Start of team work; 16h00 Pitches by challenge to the referring associations; 17h00 Prize ceremony on stage; 17h20 Networking.

🎲 THE CHALLENGES: The challenges will be revealed at the beginning of September. Each challenge is proposed by a partner women's association and concerns a concrete problem experienced by its beneficiaries. Your thematic preference will be taken into account when forming the teams.

🤖 WHO FOR? This hackathon is open to everyone, whatever your level in AI. The teams will be composed in advance to have different, complementary skills. An AI consultant will mentor your team to support you throughout the day. The teams are mixed so that men and women work together on these equality issues.

📍 PRACTICAL INFO: Date: Wednesday 24 September 2026. Times: 8h30 to 18h00 (prize ceremony included). Location: CEPAC Vélodrome. Access: free, compulsory registration. Limited places: 100 participants. By registering, you agree that your contact details will be passed on to La Tribune and that you will be registered for the AIM 2026 event.
